FC Barcelona have issued their official medical update this morning ahead of Wednesday's Champions League quarter-final first leg against Atletico Madrid at Camp Nou.
Ronald Araujo has been cleared to play. The Uruguayan went off in the 40th minute at the Metropolitano on Saturday with what appeared to be a hamstring concern, but further assessment confirmed he suffered no structural damage. He is available for selection.
Marc Bernal is out. The 18-year-old, who came on to replace Araujo and was then forced off himself in the 62nd minute, has been confirmed to have a left ankle sprain. He will miss Wednesday's first leg and next weekend's Barcelona derby against Espanyol. Bernal has set his sights on returning for the second leg on April 14.
Flick's midfield for Wednesday is therefore Pedri and Marc Casado as the available central options. Frenkie de Jong remains sidelined. Gavi is also available but has played a limited role this season.
