Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is preparing a record €150 million bid for Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise, with Fabrizio Romano confirming the president was being deliberately misleading when he denied the Frenchman was his target. Perez wants Olise as the centrepiece of a Galactico rebuild under returning manager Jose Mourinho, believing a front three of Olise, Mbappe and Vinicius would give Real Madrid the most dangerous attack in the world.

Bayern Munich have made their stance crystal clear, with honorary president Uli Hoeness insisting Olise will not be sold at any price this summer. The 24-year-old is under contract until 2029 and won the Bundesliga Player of the Season award this term. Whether Bayern's public resistance will hold when a €150 million offer lands on their desk remains the key question of the summer.
