Arsenal received a major boost in their pursuit of Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi after Paris Saint-Germain withdrew from the race on Friday. The 19-year-old Frenchman has reportedly told those close to him that Arsenal is his preferred destination, with the club Premier League title success strengthening their appeal over European rivals.

Bournemouth are expected to demand between 80 and 100 million pounds for one of the standout performers of the 2025-26 season. Kroupi scored 13 Premier League goals as a teenager last season, including the strike that effectively handed Arsenal the title. Liverpool, under new manager Andoni Iraola who knows the player well from Bournemouth, retain interest but appear to be trailing in the race.
