Erling Haaland has taken a proactive step towards a potential exit from Manchester City by asking his agents to look into a move to Real Madrid. The Norwegian striker is reportedly intrigued by the challenge of La Liga and the lure of joining the Bernabeu under new manager Jose Mourinho.

Significant obstacles remain, however. Real Madrid would need to reshape their attack given the presence of Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior, while Manchester City are under no pressure to sell. Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has declined to publicly address the situation.
