Barcelona are set to lose another key figure this summer after Andreas Christensen rejected the club's offer of a contract extension, according to Mundo Deportivo. The Danish centre-back has endured a difficult spell with injuries but his priority is to remain in top-level football, and the terms on offer at Barca did not meet his expectations.

Clubs from the Premier League, Bundesliga, Serie A, and La Liga are all monitoring his situation as he approaches free agent status at the end of June. His exit would further strengthen Barcelona's need for a quality centre-back this summer, adding urgency to their pursuit of Inter's Alessandro Bastoni. Ironically, Christensen's departure also frees up significant wages that could help fund the Bastoni or Alvarez deals.
