Barcelona won the La Liga title for the 29th time this season — and their players and staff have dominated the end-of-season individual honours to match.

JOAN GARCIA — ZAMORA TROPHY

Joan Garcia wins the Zamora Trophy as the goalkeeper with the best goals-to-games ratio in La Liga — just 0.70 goals conceded per match across the entire campaign. It is the first Zamora of his career and one of the most impressive debut seasons as a number one in Barcelona's recent history. Garcia only became first choice after Marc ter Stegen suffered a serious knee injury in preseason — a situation that could have destabilised the club. Instead Garcia stepped in and produced a season of remarkable consistency. He made more saves than any other goalkeeper in the division, kept 17 clean sheets, and was decisive in keeping Barcelona in games during difficult patches when Yamal and Raphinha were both injured. He is now first choice for Spain at the World Cup and one of the most sought-after young goalkeepers in Europe.

LAMINE YAMAL — BEST PLAYER OF THE SEASON

Despite missing the final six weeks of the season with a Grade 2 hamstring tear, Lamine Yamal is the overwhelming pick as La Liga's best player. ESPN's Graham Hunter: "not even close — he's the best player in Spain by a distance." Yamal scored 16 La Liga goals and registered 13 assists before his injury against Celta Vigo on April 22. He was triple-marked in most matches, played through a groin problem for weeks, and still delivered moments that changed games nobody else could. He also scored in his first career El Clasico at the Bernabeu and set up the second in the title-confirming 2-0 win over Madrid on May 10. His La Liga season was ended prematurely — but not before he had already made himself the story of the Spanish campaign for the second year in a row.

HANSI FLICK — BEST COACH

Hansi Flick retains the best coach award for a second successive season. After a domestic treble in his debut year, he won the La Liga title again in 2025-26 — this time navigating a significantly more difficult injury situation, with Yamal, Raphinha, Christensen, Bernal and Kounde all missing significant portions of the campaign. His use of the squad, trust in young players and relentless intensity across the season marks him out as the best manager in Spain.

TITLE CONFIRMED: May 10, 2026 — Barcelona 2-0 Real Madrid (El Clasico). Barcelona's 29th La Liga title. Second consecutive championship under Flick. Relegated: Mallorca, Girona, Oviedo.
