The Champions League quarter-finals kick off on Tuesday and every tie has something compelling about it.
Barcelona host Atletico Madrid on Wednesday at Camp Nou, with the second leg in Madrid on April 14. It is the first of three meetings between the sides in ten days, with a La Liga clash sandwiched in between. Barcelona go in without Raphinha and with doubts over Balde and Kounde's fitness. Atletico are missing Johnny Cardoso through injury and face a nervy wait on Alexander Sorloth's fitness.
Real Madrid welcome Bayern Munich to the Bernabeu on Tuesday. Andriy Lunin starts in goal with Thibaut Courtois six weeks into a six-week recovery from a thigh injury. Bayern have their own goalkeeper problems but Kane, Gnabry and Musiala make them formidable. Madrid improved significantly under Arbeloa and are not to be underestimated.
Liverpool face PSG on Wednesday at the Parc des Princes, a rematch of last season's round of 16 which PSG won. Liverpool are fifth in the Premier League and need this run to secure Champions League football next season. PSG are the defending champions and the favourites.
Arsenal travel to Lisbon to face Sporting CP on Tuesday. Arsenal beat Leverkusen in the last round and go in as the form side in England. Sporting beat Bodo/Glimt in extraordinary fashion. The tie is tight and Arteta will set up to grind out a result in the first leg.
