The Polish international joined Arsenal from Spezia in 2023 but has struggled to hold down a regular starting place under Mikel Arteta, making a move to Portugal an attractive outcome for all parties involved.
The transfer is set to be the first of several departures at the Emirates this summer as Arteta looks to reshape his squad. Arsenal are targeting multiple additions in the upcoming window and the funds raised from this deal will contribute toward their transfer budget. Kiwior made 25 appearances across all competitions for the club this season.
