Barcelona had some positive injury news on Tuesday with Alejandro Balde and Jules Kounde both returning to partial training as the club prepares for a defining ten-day stretch.

The pair have been managing their respective recoveries while the rest of the squad was on international duty. Both completed part of Monday's session with the group at the Ciutat Esportiva, a promising sign ahead of what Barca are calling a triple-header against Atletico Madrid, who they face once in La Liga and twice in the Champions League quarter-finals across April 8 and April 14.

The return of two key defenders comes at a critical time given Barcelona's injury situation. Raphinha is out for five weeks and Hansi Flick will need his squad as close to full strength as possible for the matches that could define their season.
