The deal ends a renewal saga that had run since January 2025 and escalated sharply over the past two weeks, including a meeting at Real Madrid's training facilities and Vinícius deleting his entire Instagram history hours afterward.
WHAT IT ENDS
This closes the door on Arsenal's interest, which had grown serious enough that personal terms were reportedly discussed and Roc Nation, Vinícius's agency, had been in contact with the Premier League champions. Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez has consistently said he wanted Vinícius to stay "forever," and this extension delivers exactly that outcome, at least for six more years.
THE NUMBERS THAT GOT HIM THERE
The financial gap that stalled talks for so long appears to have been closed. Real Madrid's last public offer before today was around €22 million per year, against Vinícius's camp asking for closer to €30 million along with a loyalty bonus Madrid had resisted on principle. Exact final terms haven't been broken down publicly yet.
