Real Madrid will have Vinicius Junior available for the Champions League quarter-final against Bayern Munich after COPE journalist Miguel Angel Diaz confirmed the Brazilian is fit.
Vinicius missed Brazil's collective training session on Saturday with muscular discomfort following the 2-1 friendly defeat to France. That sparked alarm at the Bernabeu, still raw from Raphinha's five-week hamstring injury suffered in the same game. Initial medical checks found no serious tear, with the issue classified as muscular fatigue.
Diaz reported on Sunday that Vinicius is fine and that any decision not to play against Croatia on Tuesday would be purely precautionary. The 25-year-old has been in excellent form this season and is Madrid's most important attacking player heading into the UCL last eight.
Real Madrid face Bayern at the Bernabeu on April 7. Mbappe has already confirmed his full fitness and commitment to the club run-in, telling Telefoot this week that the best way to arrive at the World Cup in top form is to win everything with Real Madrid first.
