1. ARSENAL VS FULHAM — TONIGHT AT 4:30PM GHANA TIME
Arsenal host Fulham at the Emirates this evening (5:30pm UK / 4:30pm Ghana) in what is effectively a must-win Premier League fixture. A win takes them six points clear of Manchester City, who do not play in the league again until Monday at Everton. Arsenal come in on the back of Wednesday's 1-1 draw at Atletico Madrid in the UCL semi-final and have won just one of their last five league games. Saka returned from injury in Madrid. Calafiori is pushing for a start at left-back. Havertz and Timber remain doubts. Fulham are 10th and fighting for a European spot — Josh King said: "We will go there with no fear." Fulham have never won in 32 away trips to Arsenal in all competitions. Arsenal have scored more than one goal in a game just once since mid-March — their biggest concern heading into the run-in.
2. BARCELONA PLAY OSASUNA TONIGHT — TITLE COULD BE CONFIRMED TOMORROW
Barcelona face Osasuna away at El Sadar tonight (21:00 CET / 8pm Ghana). A win, combined with a Real Madrid slip at Espanyol tomorrow, would confirm Barcelona as La Liga champions. Raphinha is pushing for inclusion after returning to group training this week. Yamal remains out with his hamstring injury. Barca are 11 points clear with five games left — they could clinch back-to-back titles this weekend without even playing El Clasico. Real Madrid travel to Espanyol on Sunday.
3. SALAH INJURY NOT AS SERIOUS AS FEARED — EXPECTED BACK THIS SEASON
Good news from Liverpool. Mohamed Salah suffered a muscle injury in training this week but the club confirmed on Wednesday that it is not as serious as first thought and he is expected to return to play for Liverpool again this season. The Egyptian had been reported by an Egyptian official as having played his final game for the club, with his contract expiring in June. His return from injury is significant — he has 22 goals and 16 assists in the Premier League this season and his presence for the final games could be crucial in Liverpool's top-four push. They are fifth, three points behind Chelsea.
4. MAN UNITED VS LIVERPOOL TOMORROW — CHAMPIONS LEAGUE ON THE LINE
Manchester United host Liverpool at Old Trafford tomorrow (3:30pm UK / 2:30pm Ghana) in a match with Champions League qualification implications for both sides. United are third, two points from a guaranteed top-four spot. Liverpool are fifth, three points behind Chelsea. Kobbie Mainoo starts alongside Fernandes in midfield. It could be Salah's final away game in a Liverpool shirt if he is not fit, or his return date if he recovers in time. Arteta has already highlighted this as one of Arsenal's toughest fixtures in the run-in — they travel to West Ham on Sunday May 10.
5. UCL SECOND LEGS NEXT WEEK — WINNER TAKES ALL
Both Champions League semi-finals go to second legs next week. Arsenal host Atletico Madrid at the Emirates on Tuesday May 5 — the tie is locked at 1-1. Arsenal need a draw to reach their first UCL final since 2006. Atletico, who have won 11 of 15 two-legged ties against English clubs, fly to London knowing one away goal could be enough. PSG then go to Munich on Wednesday May 6 — they lead Bayern 5-4 after one of the greatest UCL semi-finals ever played. Bayern need two goals at minimum. The Budapest final is May 30.
