1. PSG 5-4 BAYERN — THE GREATEST UCL SEMI-FINAL EVER

Paris Saint-Germain beat Bayern Munich 5-4 at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday night in the highest-scoring Champions League semi-final in the competition's history. Nine goals, five lead changes, and the two best attacking sides in Europe producing a match that will live forever. Kvaratskhelia and Dembele each scored twice for PSG, with Joao Neves also on the scoresheet. Kane opened with a 17th-minute penalty — his 54th goal of the season — and Olise made it 2-2 before the break. PSG went 5-2 up through Kvaratskhelia and Dembele within three minutes of each other in the 56th and 58th minutes. Kompany watched from the stands due to suspension. PSG boss Luis Enrique said: "We won, but we suffered the whole match. It will be the same in the second leg."

2. ARSENAL vs ATLETICO MADRID — UCL SEMI-FINAL FIRST LEG TONIGHT

Arsenal travel to the Metropolitano tonight for the Champions League semi-final first leg (kick-off 9pm Madrid / 8pm UK / 7pm Ghana). Arsenal are unbeaten in 12 UCL games this season — the only unbeaten team remaining in the competition. They won 4-0 at the Emirates against Atletico in the group stage in October. Atletico have scored 34 Champions League goals this season — a club record — and beat Barcelona 3-2 on aggregate in the quarter-finals. Simeone's side have won 11 of 15 two-legged UCL ties against English clubs.

3. HAVERTZ OUT — ARSENAL INJURY UPDATE FOR ATLETICO

Kai Havertz has been ruled out of tonight's first leg. The German has not recovered from the muscle injury he suffered against Newcastle on Saturday and joins Merino (foot) and Timber (groin) in the treatment room. Eberechi Eze has trained and is expected to start. Viktor Gyokeres is in line to lead the attack. Martin Zubimendi was sick at half-time against Newcastle but is expected to be fit. Saka is in the squad after returning from the bench against Newcastle. For Atletico, Pablo Barrios misses both legs with a hamstring injury. Lookman and Hancko are both doubtful.

4. SALAH PLAYS HIS LAST GAME FOR LIVERPOOL — EGYPT OFFICIAL

An Egypt football official confirmed this week that Mohamed Salah has played his final game for Liverpool. The 34-year-old's contract expires in June and he will not be renewing. Liverpool have not won the Premier League this season — they are fifth, three points behind Chelsea in fourth — and Salah's exit marks the end of a nine-year career at Anfield that produced 232 goals, making him the club's all-time top scorer. His destination remains undisclosed, though Saudi Arabia and MLS have both been linked. Liverpool beat PSG to win the 2025 Champions League final. Salah was named Man of the Match.

5. BARCELONA CLOSE TO WINNING LA LIGA — WHAT THEY NEED

Barcelona are 11 points clear of Real Madrid in La Liga with five games remaining. They could be confirmed champions as early as this weekend — if they beat Mallorca on Saturday and Madrid fail to win at Espanyol on Sunday. Barcelona's last five fixtures: Mallorca (H), Real Madrid (H, May 10), Villarreal (A), Osasuna (A), Espanyol (H). The El Clasico on May 10 could be the title party. Yamal is out for the season with a hamstring tear but is expected back in time for Spain's World Cup opener on June 15.
