Sandro Tonali's future is the summer transfer saga that keeps growing. Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United are all chasing the Newcastle midfielder, according to multiple sources including Nicolo Schira and TEAMtalk — and the player's own agent has all but confirmed he wants out.
Giuseppe Riso, Tonali's representative, told reporters that getting his client to a bigger club "was the aim from the moment he went to England." Arsenal had an offer ready in January — around €70-80m — but Newcastle rejected any mid-season negotiations.
This summer, that changes. TEAMtalk reports Newcastle are "increasingly worried and frustrated" about Tonali's camp pushing for a move. The Magpies want £100m and have no desire to sell — but the Italian's desire to win major honours makes staying difficult to justify.
Fabrizio Romano has described an exit as a "strong possibility." With Juventus cooling their interest, the destination looks likely to be in England. Arsenal remain the most linked, but Man United — desperate for midfield quality — and City are in the race too.
