Michael Olise is the most coveted winger in European football right now — and Liverpool want him badly.
Reports from Fichajes claim FSG are prepared to offer close to €200m for the Bayern Munich forward, who has registered 43 goal contributions this season. With Mohamed Salah's future increasingly uncertain, Olise has been identified as the ideal long-term replacement on the right. His family attended Liverpool's home game against Brighton last weekend — a detail that has not gone unnoticed.
The problem: Bayern are not selling. Olise is contracted until 2029, earns around €15m a year, and Christian Falk reports the club want to extend him to 2031. They have no intention of negotiating a departure.
There is also the question of the player's own preference. TEAMtalk report Olise would favour a move to Spain over England if he were to leave Bavaria — with Real Madrid and Barcelona both monitoring the situation.
Liverpool are not alone either. Real Madrid, Manchester City and Arsenal have all been linked. This one will run all summer.
