THE APPOINTMENT
Jürgen Klopp was officially unveiled as Germany's new national team head coach on Friday, signing a contract that runs through the 2030 World Cup. Klopp's release from his Red Bull role was secured after the German Football Association agreed to make a €1 million donation to the Wings for Life foundation and committed to playing three internationals in Leipzig before 2030.
