Arsenal are nine points clear at the top of the Premier League with 64 points from 29 games 19 wins, only 22 goals conceded and a goal difference of +36. Mikel Arteta's side are the most consistent team in England this season and their remaining fixtures are kind, with only one away trip outside London in their final seven games. Manchester City, however, have a game in hand and beat Arsenal 2-0 in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley on March 22. If City win that game in hand and then beat the Gunners at the Etihad on April 19, the gap could be as narrow as one point with five games to play. Guardiola's side have clawed back bigger deficits before. Arsenal, though, have shown a composure under Arteta that previous title-chasing incarnations lacked they grind out results, they do not wobble, they manage games. Viktor Gyökeres, Bukayo Saka and a settled defensive structure have made them the real deal. The title has been 22 years coming. April 19 at the Etihad will tell us a great deal about whether the wait is finally over.
